🔒 Pixels never leave your browser — no upload, no account.

Free background remover — logos, icons, product shots

You found a logo on a white background and you need it transparent. Opening Photoshop for that is overkill, and most online removers want an account — or quietly upload your file to their servers. This background remover does it in your browser: click the background colour and every pixel close to it becomes transparent. Nudge the tolerance until the background disappears cleanly, soften the edge, and download a ready PNG.

Two modes, and when to use them

All similar pixels removes that colour everywhere in the image — perfect for a flat logo. Only touching edges is a flood fill from the border inward, so a white shirt or white text inside your subject is preserved while the surrounding white still goes. If the edges look harsh, raise edge softness to feather the transition.

What it can and can't do — honestly

This tool works by colour distance, so it is excellent on solid or near-solid backgrounds: white studio shots, black backdrops, green and blue chroma key. It is not an AI cut-out: separating a person from a busy café background needs a neural network and no colour-based tool will do it well. For that job the honest answer is a dedicated AI remover — for everything flat, this is faster and completely private.

How do I make white transparent?
Drop the image, click the white area, adjust tolerance, download the PNG.
Does it work on any photo?
On solid backgrounds — yes. Busy backgrounds need an AI model; this is colour-based.
Is my image uploaded?
No — pixels are processed on canvas in your browser. Nothing leaves your device.
